Thanks to a reconstruction by M.Morabito, we can understand the semantic meaning of the song. Every nigth a man went to pray the Vergin of Carmel, his wife got suspecious and she asked him what he did every night. He said that he met a woman prettier than her, so the woman kills herself. At this point the man asks to the Madonna for a grace that makes his wife resurrect.
